To hire and manage the pit crew for your racing team, open the STAFF menu and select OTHER STAFF.

You will find three offers for different pit crews when you open the job market. Each available pit crew has different conditions: skill, contract duration and wages.
Once per hour you will receive a new set of offers, so if you don't like any of the available offers, you can wait for a better fitting offer. Or you can instantly get new offers for a few STARS.

Once you have hired a pit crew, they are ready to get to work. The higher the skill, the faster they will perform pit stops, and the lower is the error probability.

You can train the skill of your pit crew. You can decide if you want to train 1, 2 or 3 skill points. Staff training is not cheap, and takes a long time, so that factor should be considered when hiring a pit crew in the first place.

Contract duration

Pit crews have contracts that range from a few days to a few weeks. Once the contract runs out, you can either extend the contract, or you can look for a new crew at the job market. Extending a contract is not cheap, so you should in any case take a look at the job market to see if a better crew might be available.
While your crew is waiting for their contract to be renewed or to be replaced by a new crew, they will not work your races. Their skill level is reduced to 0, so your pit stops will be performed the same as when no crew is hired.
As soon as the contract is extended, the crew jumps back into action.

You can replace your pit crew at any time, but in most cases that is not a good option. You have already paid the wages for your crew for the complete contract duration, and you will not receive a refund for the unused time.
